Ms. Cummings has 35 years teaching experience, all in Kanawha County, the last eight of which have been at John Adams.
She received her BA in Elementary Education (Math 4-8) at West Virginia State College; her MA in Curriculum Instruction at the University of Kentucky; and a Middle School Endorsement from Marshall University.
Her philosophies are:
-Do the right thing, no matter who is watching,
-Treat others the way you want to be treated, and
-Be a nice person.
Ms. Cummings' interests include kids, sports, and music. She has two children - a son in 5th grade, and daughter in 3rd grade. They play baseball and softball, so she is at the ball field a lot! She loves sports - especially the University of Kentucky!
She coaches a Special Olympics Swim Team and directs her church choir.
