Ms. Cummings has a total of 30 years of teaching experience and has spent the past three years at John Adams. She has a BA in Elementary Education 1-6 and Math 4-8. She holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Endorsements in Algebra 1 and Middle School. She attended West Virginia State College and the University of Kentucky. She enjoys time spent with her nieces and nephew, and is very involved with her church. She sings with the Charleston Civic Chorus and coaches the Kanawha County Special Olympics Swim Team.
